Murray Davidson started working with his father in 1970. Since 1982, he and his wife Deborah have owned and operated Davidson Hearing Aid Centres. Murray is a Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 40 years experience fitting hearing aids and has successfully fitted thousands of satisfied clients.

Robbie Davidson

Robbie Davidson is Murray’s son and is the third generation Davidson working with hearing aids. Robbie started working part time in 1999 while he was studying at the University of Ottawa. In 2006, he graduated from the University of British Colombia with a Master's degree in Audiology.

A member of the College of Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, Robbie has spent considerable time continuing his education and attaining special certification in areas including cerumen management. He also has advanced training in working with invisible devices which are inserted deep into the ear canal. This past year, he has was selected to participated in an international hearing aid study and has given presentations to groups of audiologists and the hard of hearing on different areas of the field of audiology.

David Cox

David is Murray Davidson’s nephew. David grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master’s in Science degree specializing in Audiology. David joined our team in 1999 and has since been providing audiological services to both our Pembroke and Renfrew offices.

Rob Meagher

Rob Meagher is a Hearing Instrument Specialist who joined us in 1986. Rob has been wearing hearing aids himself since he was 5 years old and knows personally the importance of wearing hearing aids that are properly fitted. Rob works in the Ottawa-Cornwall corridor and has two weekly clinics in Cornwall, as well as monthly clinics in Winchester and Morrisburg. He also does house calls for those patients who cannot come into one of our offices.

Karen Martel

Karen Martel is a Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 30 years of experience. Karen started her career with a hearing aid manufacturer. As well as testing hearing and fitting hearing aids, Karen also repairs and modifies many of our patient’s hearing aids right in our office. This is an invaluable service, saving you from being without your hearing aid. Karen has been working with us since 1995 and is now working full time in our Nepean office.

Francine Larochelle

A native of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Francine has lived in the Ottawa region since 2001 when she first moved here to pursue her post-secondary education at the University of Ottawa, including a Master’s in Health Science specializing in Audiology. Francine first started her career as an audiologist at Davidson’s former office on McLeod Street to then be transferred to our Bank Street location where she offers bilingual services in French and in English to our clientele.

Isabelle Adam

Audiologist

A native of St-Albert, Ontario, Isabelle completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa in Psychology and Linguistics. In 2008, she also graduated with a Master’s degree in Health Sciences specializing in Audiology and has been working as an Audiologist in the Ottawa region since then.  She now offers bilingual services (French and English) at our Ottawa East location.

Julie Levionnois

Julie is a graduate of the University of Ottawa's Master’s degree in Health Sciences specializing in Audiology. After having completed her final student practicum at Davidson’s, she began working for us as an Audiologist in September 2013. Julie grew up across both Ontario and British Columbia but has been calling Ottawa home for the past eight years since she moved here to start her Bachelors of Science with a specialization in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology. Julie is fluent in both French and English and can offer bilingual services at our Ottawa office.

Amy Holder

Amy started working with us when we opened the new Brockville clinic in 2012. She immediately demonstrated how well she connects with patients and while she was off on maternity leave in 2015, we had countless inquiries about how she and the baby were doing. She is a graduate of the Grant McEwan University Hearing Aid Practitioner course and will be a huge asset to the Brockville clinic.

Josée Poitras

Josée is our most recent graduate from the University of Ottawa’s Master’s degree in Health Sciences specializing in Audiology. After completing her undergraduate studies in English literature and French studies in her home province of New Brunswick, she moved to Ottawa to further her education at the University of Ottawa. Josée is bilingual and will be happy to offer you French or English services in our Nepean location.
