Alex was born and raised in Cornwall. She attended elementary school at Marie-Tanguay and high school at La Citadelle. Alex then completed her post-secondary studies at the University of Ottawa, obtaining a bachelor's degree in health science followed by a master’s degree in audiology in 2019.

Healthcare always interested Alex, and she knew from a young age that she wanted to work in a profession where she could help others. During her last year of her undergraduate degree, she discovered audiology and quickly became fascinated by the world of hearing care. She hasn’t looked back since!

Alex joined Davidson Hearing Aid Centres in 2019 and feels very fortunate to be a part of the team. She says their amazing reputation and family focused approach to hearing care attracted her to the role. Alex also likes that they are a family-owned business who puts patients’ hearing healthcare needs first.

Alex is responsible for performing hearing assessments, hearing aid selection and fittings, counselling, routine check-ups and many other clinical tasks. As a Cornwall native, Alex’s favourite part of her job is giving back to her community through hearing healthcare.

When she is not in the office, Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also loves travelling as well as checking out local shops and restaurants.
