With the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a global pandemic, we want to let you know that the safety of our staff and clients is our top priority. We have been monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in Eastern Ontario, and were quick to reschedule all non-essential appointments, quarantine any staff who had traveled or had any symptoms, maintain our high levels of infection control protocol and screen clients entering our clinics. As more information became available, primarily the fact that asymptomatic individuals could be passing it on, we have made the decision to close our offices until further notice.
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 and our government’s recommendations. We will keep you notified of any changes and our clinic re-openings via our website and facebook page.
We understand how important hearing well is for each of us, and do not take this closure lightly. We are taking steps to ensure the safest way to offer emergency assistance in this time.
To order batteries, filters, accessories, tubings, cleaning supplies, etc, please call or email us and we would be more than happy to mail them out to you.
For repairs, please call or email us. We will then try and help you trouble shoot the problem. If that is not possible, some manufacturers are allowing us to send warranty hearing aids directly into them. If this is required, we will provide you with the details on how to do this. Otherwise, we are requesting that they be mailed to our Nepean office where they can be repaired or we will send to the manufacturer for you.
This will likely require a visit to your physician or an emergency room as time is of the essence for medical treatment if it is an inner ear virus. If you would like to discuss the situation and get our advice first, please give us a call.

With the offices closed, we are working with a very small staff practicing extreme social distancing in our work environments. If you can’t get through on the phone, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We will do our best to get any battery or part order prior to 3:30pm in the mail on the day that it was placed. Due to the extremely high demands being placed on Canada Post at the moment, please allow a few extra days for batteries and supplies to arrive before following up with us (4-7 days is about what they seem to be taking now).
