  • Muckleston & Brockwell butchery: Their sausages and rib-eye steaks are delicious and all their meat come from farms in the Ottawa Valley region. Website: mucklestonandbrockwell.com
  • La Provence Bakery: Small delicious French Bakery with a large selection of pastries, cakes, breads and croissants to choose from. Website: laprovencebakery.ca
  • Cabotto’s Restaurant: Cabotto’s is one of the longest established family-run restaurants in Ottawa. Since 1976.  It’s located in Stittsville.  They serve some of the best Italian food as well as have amazing customer service.  It was a regular favorite of mine before COVID I have been using their take out service since.   • The Butchery/Vera Burgers: The Butchery located across Robertson Rd from the Nepean office.  Not only do they have great butcher meats and a deli, but they also have amazing burgers that the Nepean office staff frequently enjoys on a Friday “take out” day.  They also have the best milkshakes around.   • Stella Luna Gelato Café: All their gelatos are delicious, and the pistachio gelato is my favorite. Website: slgelato.com

  • MXMLST: A new clothing company with a focus on making custom pieces for women of all sizes. In addition, they also recently began making handmade masks that are a great option for anyone who wants a well-fitted and yet stylish mask. Website: mxmlst.co

  • Home Hardware Manotick: A wide variety of home supplies. Staff remarks: “ They always greet you with a smile and offer their help as soon as you walk in. They try to offer absolutely anything and everything anyone could possibly ever need”. Website: homehardware.ca

The Ottawa Valley (Arnprior, Renfrew, Pembroke):

Brockville Area:

Food:

  • The Sweet Life Café: Local Brockville café providing a variety of different foods and drinks for their community. During COVID-19, they amended their business model to include the sale of baking products (flour, sugar, etc.), and groceries to serve the community when grocery stores were running out of stock.   • The Score: a Thrift & Consignment Store downtown Brockville. Each time you purchase from them a portion of the proceeds go to Leeds and Grenville MS Society. Staff Tip: “They have awesome sale days throughout the week”. Website: The Score Thrift Store And More
