Madison Richardson

Hearing Instrument Specialist
Madison grew up in Long Sault and went to high school in Cornwall. Following graduation, she attended the University of Ottawa and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology before completing the HIS program through Grant MacEwan University in 2013.

Madison chose to enter the world of hearing care after her own experience with hearing loss and middle ear issues. She is grateful for her mentor that let her job shadow while enrolled in the HIS program.

A part of the Davidson team since 2017, Madison feels so fortunate to work for an amazing company and with a great team. She says she chose to work at Davidson because of the reputation they hold in the Ottawa and surrounding areas – a healthcare provider with a high level of care, attention to detail and one that goes that extra mile.

Madison’s day-to-day responsibilities include hearing testing, fitting, troubleshooting and the counselling alongside it. She enjoys working with people and the relationships she’s built with her patients. Madison finds the ever-changing world of hearing aids remarkably fascinating and loves seeing her patients benefit from the updated technology.

Life outside of the office is incredibly busy. Madison is mom to two boys whose love for anything outdoors is strong. During the winter, she can often be found holding her breath as they find the most dangerous hill to toboggan down. Summer is slightly more relaxing as they splash in the pool or play with trucks in the sandbox.
