Robin Wood
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Robin grew up in Brighton, Ontario, and has always been drawn to the science of sound and communication. She studied Applied Linguistics in Hearing Sciences at Brock University before completing the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at George Brown College in 2016.
Her career in hearing healthcare combines her love of anatomy, the physics of sound, and advanced technology, all in service of helping people reconnect with the sounds that matter most. Robin joined Davidson Hearing Aid Centres in June 2025 after relocating from Thunder Bay to Brockville. Even from Northern Ontario, she had heard about Davidson’s reputation as a welcoming and supportive team, and she is proud to now be part of it.
As a clinician, Robin provides hearing assessments, hearing aid selection and fittings, troubleshooting and repairs, ear wax removal, and personalized sound amplification solutions. She especially enjoys hearing the stories clients share about the new sounds they can experience again with their hearing aids.
Outside the clinic, Robin keeps busy chasing after her energetic three-and-a-half-year-old. She also enjoys curling and spending time camping in the outdoors.
