Mithusha Satkunanathan
Audiologist
Mithusha grew up in Montreal, Quebec, before moving to Ottawa to complete her Master’s degree in Audiology at the University of Ottawa. She brings both strong clinical expertise and a genuine passion for patient care to her role at Davidson Hearing Aid Centres.
Her interest in hearing care is rooted in a desire to help people reconnect with the moments that matter most. Mithusha understands that hearing is deeply connected to communication, relationships, and independence, and she is committed to supporting her patients every step of the way.
In her day-to-day work, Mithusha conducts comprehensive hearing assessments, fits and adjusts hearing aids, and provides ongoing guidance to help patients adapt comfortably and confidently. She takes a thoughtful, supportive approach, helping individuals not only hear better, but also navigate the emotional aspects of hearing loss.
What Mithusha finds most rewarding is the immediate and meaningful impact she can have on someone’s quality of life. Whether it’s helping a patient reconnect with loved ones or regain confidence in social settings, she values being part of those important moments.
Outside of the clinic, Mithusha enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as reading and watching movies.
