Traditional technology
Deals with complex and noisy environments like restaurants by focusing on one sound source at a time, such as one person speaking. By reducing all other sounds – speech and noise alike – it leaves the wearer with a narrowed and artificial listening experience.
Oticon Opn S technology
Much faster processing constantly analyzes the whole soundscape. By separating speech and then reducing other noise, it presents you with a natural, 360-degree sound environment. You can hear multiple speakers and switch focus whenever you want.
Opn in-the-ear Comes In Several Different Sizes
Invisible-In-the-Canal (IIC)
Our smallest hearing aids are so tiny they sit inside the ear canal where people can’t see them.
Completely-In-the-Canal (CIC)
These very discreet hearing aids sit completely inside the ear canal and are hard to see – though not entirely hidden. They have an optional control button.
In-The-Canal (ITC)
These sit in the ear canal. A small faceplate is visible in the lower part of the ear. In many cases it also allows wireless connection to smartphones and devices.
In-The-Ear (ITE)
For people who prioritize an instrument that is extra easy to handle, control, and adjust. These in-the-ear hearing aids are fully featured and offer wireless connectivity.
Whistling is a thing of the past
Feedback is an annoying whistle that occurs when sound from your hearing aid escapes and is amplified again. It usually occurs when something comes close to your hearing aid, like when you hug someone or put your phone to your ear. It’s a problem that has been difficult to address – until now.
A new breakthrough technology in Oticon Opn S stops feedback before it even occurs. Now, you can give someone you love a hug, without worrying about whistling sounds from your hearing aids.*
